Here we have for sale a Caterham / Westfield styled 7 roadster. The car was built in the 1990s and has been significantly improved and refined over recent years. This includes an upgraded suspension set up and chassis with the built in roll cage. Please note the cage is not to MSA specification. The bodywork is wrapped in white with carbon effect front wheel arches, wing mirrors and other trim pieces. Powered by a 2 litre Ford Zetec with an expensive Emerald K6 ecu and Emerald loom, induction is by a standard single throttle body so while the engine is very smooth and the car overall still very quick, there is much potential to easily add larger throttle bodies / carburettors to increase its performance. The current set up has recently been professionally Rolling Road mapped. The car features many brand new components including the Wolfrace alloy wheels and Toyo Proxes tyres. The suspension is Gaz adjustable coil overs front and rear. Inside there is a smart carbon effect dashboard with a detailed instrument set and an aircraft ignition switch for the fuel pump cut off.

 

The car is correctly registered including colour and engine number and is Hpi clear. There is a folder with some paperwork, in particular details regarding the wiring. The car was MOT’d in June with no advisories. It has however not been driven any significant distance for a while and the new owner needs to please appreciate that it may need a few niggles sorting out as the miles are added. This will probably include properly setting up the suspension and tracking and going over the whole car a few times to make sure that everything is tight.
