​Private sale of Director’s own TVR Chimaera. I have owned the Chimaera for two and half years, only using in the dry summer months and have enjoyed every drive. Finished in the unique and stunning Ameridian Blue Metallic, the car was professionally resprayed after I bought it (photos available), then fitted with a new Gaz Pro coilover kit, 17” Calibre Wheels and Toyo Proxes tyres and taken to Elite autocare for a full suspension geometry and wheel alignment. As a result it now rides and handles very well. The original TVR Imola wheels are included in the sale. The chassis had new outriggers fitted by Kerridges TVR in 2015 and was then subsequently heavily waxoyled for protection. The waxoyl was removed by ourselves so the chassis could be subsequently cleaned and inspected. Only used in summer months since and, using our four poster lift, the underside is cleaned regularly and the chassis coated lightly in clear wax for protection. Please see photos of the underside and chassis. There are the original service cards and a subsequent large folder of invoices but the key points are as follows. Stamps and invoices for services at 1059, 5278, 10662, 14140, 16323, 25692, 34922, 39124, 41624, 43821, 71598 and 73800. New radiator at 39500, New Front wishbones, bushes and clutch at 71400, Gearbox oil change at 72000, New fuel pump, fuel filter and fuel lines at 73800. Current mileage is 75468. The car drives very nicely all round. There are no leaks from the engine, no smoke when cold or hot, clutch and gearbox work nicely and the brakes are very effective and pull the car up in a straight line. Car fitted with PAS which works fine. The rear hood and targa top are both probably original, there are worn areas but no major rips or tears. Inside all the instruments work accurately, both electric windows work but are very slow, as is typical with Chimaeras. The mirrors have been replaced with Audi TT items and are manually adjustable. The car is fitted with a DAB Bluetooth stereo and will also come with a wired in Noco battery charger. It has an MOT with no advisories until December and I am happy to put a new full year’s MOT on the car. Actively encourage and welcome perspective buyers to view the car in detail.
