Oyster Cars are delighted to be able offer this exceptional example of the Westfield Seven sports car. Registered in 2010, this Westfield has only ever had one owner, the same gentleman who built the car originally and has covered just 7600 miles. As a result, this example not only comes with a very high level of specification but has also been tested, refined and maintained with skill and accuracy its whole life. Firstly, and most importantly, all the registration and paperwork is correct and accurate including the V5, a copy of its IVA certificate and the original invoices and paperwork from Westfield Sportscars.

 

This is a Westfield Sport 2.0 with the widebody chassis and a lowered floorplan allowing accommodation for drivers up to 6ft 3” tall. The roll cage has also been heightened to provide protection for taller drivers. The driver's seat is fitted on runners allowing adjustability for height. It features a 2 litre Duratec engine supplied by M Sport Limited mated to an uprated BGH Geartech type 9 5 speed gearbox. Power is then passed through a propshaft supplied by Bailey Morris to a 3.62:1 differential provided by Rally Design which was then modified with a Quaife ATB Limited Slip Differential. The engine is fitted with Titan throttle bodies managed by a Megasquirt 2 ECU producing approximately 185 bhp with a very smooth refined delivery. Engine management is also supported by an additional oil cooler and Samco hoses throughout the water cooling system. The exhaust includes a fitted CAT providing good emissions and provides a sporting note whilst being appropriately baffled to provide a sensible db output.

Braking is pinpoint with Wilwood 4 piston Powerlite calipers and drilled and grooved discs both front and rear, whilst ride and handling is managed by Protech adjustable coilovers all round. The black 15” Team Dynamics Pro race wheels are in excellent condition and feature Toyo Proxes tyres. Inside the interior is pure and functional with the carbon effect dashboard featuring a Stack Display Tachometer providing all the key information including a GPS speedometer with an accurate fuel gauge next door. The solid stalk control manages wipers, lights and indicators and all the electrics are built to a high standard. The padded fibreglass seats provide security and surprisingly high levels of comfort whilst you will be firmly strapped in by the Schroth 4 point clubman harnesses. The car is fitted with Westfield sidescreens which are in very good condition. The car also comes with full weather gear, but due to the taller roll cage, whilst suitable for storage or protection whilst parked, does not fit fully for long term road use.

 

In conclusion, it is rare these days to find a Westfield with this level of provenance, yet the level of equipment and build quality that this car offers. It has a lovely balance between being rapidly quick in all aspects yet refined and easy to drive. The car comes with a large folder of invoices, 2 sets of keys, MOT until August 2027, full Consumer Rights protection and a Motorcheck HPi report.
