A real rarity with just one owner from new, this Alfa Romeo Giulietta (Type 116) 1.6 is exceptionally original and unique. Always kept in an internal garage from new, this example has none of the rust and corrosion that you would expect to find on any car from this era. The underside and bodywork are in exceptional condition and the paintwork appears to be very genuine. There are one or two very minor blemishes and one sctrach of around 2cm on the n/s/r/ quarter. In order to kepp the car as original as possible, we have decided to leave these alone, but the new owner may wish to have them repaired and it would not take much work to make the bodywork as good as it was when it left the showroom. The same can be said for the interior which has held up magificantly well for a car that is 44 years old. Finished in classic beige 1980's velour, all the seats, headlining and carpet are in undamage very good condition. The same can be said of all the plastic trim which has no damage or cracks and the car even features its original period radio, with the instruction book still present. Having covered very little mileage in the last few years the car has had an engine and brake service and tune up and  new master and slave clutch cylinder fitted. The car runs and drives nicely and has a recent MOT. In full transparency and honesty, the speedometer and tachometer have recently stopped working. Both are electronic and we are looking at getting these fixed. The other dials all work. There is a lot of paperwork including all the original folder and handbook, old MOT certificates, service coupon book and many other invoices.
